Forest inventory revolutionized by LiDAR technology, science, and digital products to deliver the clearest, most actionable forest data.
Challenge: Build a digital forest inventory (DFI) application from scratch that translates LiDAR scans and advanced backend data into a clear, interactive forestry tool. The goal was to turn highly complex spatial and analytical data into a high-end product that supports mapping, point-cloud exploration, analysis, and inventory management.

The DFI app allows users to upload maps, forest data, and scans, manage teams, edit reports, and handle forest inventories efficiently.

While testing the DFI app beta version, we discovered a major pain point in the LiDAR scanning process—the first step of forest inventory. Forest technicians were struggling with an outdated and inefficient system, which inspired us to solve this problem with my second digital product: the TreeScan app.

High fidelity UI of the TreeScan app / Pre-Travel Preparation Phase
I designed this process to define project areas, prepare hardware and software, and start scanning with confidence, reducing errors and saving time.

Branding update 2/3
Originally, the logo contained a dot. As nobody said '44 dot moles' just '44moles' removing the dot was a logical step and simplified the overall look. I also changed to the Poppins font here for better typography alignment.

Branding update 3/3
Originally, the background gradient was based on the logo's primary green color. Although this mobile screen has never existed in green, it clearly demonstrates why the new purple gradient is more functional. Better contrast and readability.
